Best experience ever . In paris there are lots of asian places but this one stood out for its authenticity. All the food tastes exactly like in china!!! I really recommend the boeuf
The food was super tasty, well balanced, dishes were big enough for a big appetite. The service was sharp and efficient. The atmosphere is noisy cause is an open space. But it’s ok. I would come back anytime. Prices are reasonable, quality versus price faire.
I’m not a big fan of Xi’An cuisine in general, I didn’t like it neither in New York nor in London. But the fried chicken was quite tasty. The mo (flatbread) was really good, crispy on the outside and nicely textured inside. However, the spicy dishes had a weird sweetness. Instead of a bold, numbing heat, the flavor leaned more sweet than spicy, which wasn’t what I expected. The clay pot (砂锅) was low in meat, also wasn’t hot enough in terms of temperature. We were really hoping for something really hot to warm us up on a rainy day in Paris. Overall, it feels like the flavors have been adjusted more for French tastes rather than being truly authentic. Or whatever I had before wasn’t authentic, I wouldn’t know, never been to Xi’An.
The experience was good, the food was nice. Not that much OF HALAL OPTIONS. The plate with pasta and tomato was very mid, more like a soup, would urge the owners to add pictures to the menu.
I love this restaurant! It’s my third time here, and honestly, I’ve tried several locations in Paris (it’s a chain), but this one is especially great because it’s so spacious. I highly recommend the biangbiang noodles, the fried chicken, and the sesame ice cream, everything tastes very authentic (I’m Chinese).
