A juicy steak they delivered! Bookings are necessary as they can get busy. The steak as you can see was very well prepared and with a good sear. Overall it was a good dining experience. Paris has somewhat delivered its fair share of good food. This resto is a choice for a nice private meal with your loved ones.
We had the most delicious meal! We met the night before leaving Paris & our friends had just arrived. They enjoyed it so much they are returning on Thursday. Each dish was prepared beautifully & the flavors—wow!! We also enjoyed a great bottle of wine. Our waiter Nicholas was super. The next time we visit Paris, we shall return. Highly recommend HUGO for a beautiful meal. Thank you Chef!!
The starters were excellent—some of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. The main courses were just average. I didn’t like the fried sea bream, but I loved the scallops. I Was expecting the sea bream to be pan-fried, not deep fried. The desserts were the weakest part: basic ice cream with a few crackers, and a poached pear that still had the peel on. I had to spit out the peels, which really spoiled it. I recommend skipping the desserts and saving the 9 euros. Overall, I still enjoy the meal and would go back.
