One of the best bistros I visited in Paris. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a minimalist design that feels stylish without trying too hard. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. I started with the Grilled Octopus, and it was outstanding. The cooking was spot on: incredibly tender with a beautiful char that added depth of flavor. The eggplant caviar, confit tomatoes, and toasted almonds complemented the octopus perfectly without overpowering it. For my main course, I had the Traditional Aubrac Beef Tartare. After trying steak tartare in many different places, I can honestly say this is the best one I’ve ever had. The quality of the beef was exceptional, the texture was perfect, and the seasoning was bold enough to enhance the meat while still letting its natural flavor shine through. The homemade fries were equally impressive: crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The wine list is also well put together, with an excellent selection available by the glass. I paired the octopus with a Sancerre and the tartare with a Burgundy Pinot Noir, and both pairings elevated the experience even further. This is a restaurant that focuses on excellent ingredients and solid technique rather than unnecessary complexity. Without a doubt, it was one of the best meals I had in Paris, and it’s a place I would happily return to.

The food was good! I got the chicken and orzo and bacon cheeseburger. the chicken was VERY good, but the orzo was kind of overcooked. The bacon cheeseburger lacked some flavor but it tasted fresh overall. The fries needed salt but it was very good! Overall I would def go again but it did not wow me.
Best octopus and very delicious burger coos at the temperature I want it rare . Service excellent. . Not expensive for the quality and very big portions. House wine roast perfect for mix off fish and meat.
This place feels like that friend who always knows where to eat at lunchtime, no drama, no fuss, just really good decisions. Perfectly located, easy to walk into, hard to leave without being suspiciously satisfied. The menu is just the right size: not a novel, not a post-it note. Everything makes sense, everything works, and nothing feels like it’s trying too hard. Solid, tasty food you’d happily come back for again and again, the kind of lunch that quietly upgrades your day. Staff are genuinely friendly (not the “we’re trained to smile” kind), the vibe is relaxed, and the drinks are way better than expected for an everyday spot. Coffee, wine, whatever you’re in the mood for, they’ve got you covered. It’s not shouting for attention, it’s just doing everything right. A proper Parisian lunch companion you’ll accidentally turn into a habit.
