L'Avenue

One of those restaurants, you are supposed to go to in Paris. Even the Concierge said the place was fun, but mediocre food, and he was right. The Oysters were ok. Steak and Frites were nicely cooked, but tepid. The service can be described as pretty girls with attitude. Bottom Line All that glitters is not gold Maybe just stop for Breakfast.
Visited L’Avenue for a couples’ lunch day out. The seating area was great, with a lovely atmosphere, and the staff provided excellent service. The food was a bit mixed. The lamb chops were quite small and lacked flavour. They offer a choice of three or five pieces while I went for five, I found there was quite a lot of fat, which took away from the overall taste. On the other hand, the pasta dish my wife ordered was really nice full of flavour and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, I’d still recommend this place if you’re in the area. It’s a nice spot for lunch with a great atmosphere and a very authentic French feel.
Decided to come here for a quick lunch. This restaurant seemed like a solid choice for a convenient lunch spot. The food is decent but doesn’t quite live up to some of the buzz generated online. This place seems to attract the social media crowd and a fashionable clientele, the overall experience feels somewhat over hyped. Service was fine throughout the meal until the check arrived. The experience ended on a sour note when the waitress was uncomfortably aggressive, boldly asking if I wanted to include the tip in the payment. It felt entitled and unprofessional. It’s a nice spot for a quick bite but the service attitude needs improvement.
