Exceptional Stay - Outstanding Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is in a perfect location, close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. My room was quiet, spotless, and very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service. A special thank you to the Chief Front Desk Manager (Mr. Nourzed), whose professionalism, kindness, and generosity truly made a difference. He went above and beyond to assist my friends and me throughout our stay and graciously arranged a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. His entire team was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, cleanliness, comfort, and excellent location. I will definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Paris!

Great Location, But Major Issues with some staff behaviour and Facilities While the location of this hotel is undeniable and incredibly convenient, our overall experience was severely let down by poor customer service and faulty room facilities. Check-In Discomfort We arrived early in the morning due to an early flight. While we completely understood that our room wasn't ready, the night shift receptionist immediately demanded a €200 deposit and the city tax without explaining any hotel policies or offering a basic welcome. When we asked to leave our luggage until check-in, he took our bags without saying a word. I had to ask if we needed luggage tags, and he initially said no. Feeling uncomfortable with the lack of security, I started recording a video on my phone; only then did he silently write out two tags for us. A little communication would have gone a long way. Room Issues and Unprofessional Staff Our first room had a broken telephone, forcing me to walk down to the lobby multiple times just to get basic assistance. Instead of being apologetic about the facility failure, a female staff member at the desk made a "joke" to my daughter, asking, "What’s up this time?" While it may have been meant lightheartedly, it felt dismissive considering we were dealing with broken room amenities. The Saving Grace The next morning, another male staff member was incredibly professional and helpful. He took the time to understand our issues and kindly moved us to a new room where everything, including the phone, worked perfectly. Final Thoughts Because of its prime location, this hotel will likely always stay busy during peak seasons, giving the impression that management doesn't need to prioritize customer feedback. However, I hope this review helps future guests know what to expect regarding the mixed service standards.
My husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Paris, and choosing Maison Albar near 3 Ave Mac-Mahon was one of the best decisions we made. While the property itself has a more classic, older charm compared to some of the newer hotels we typically choose, what truly sets it apart is the immaculate service. From the moment we arrived through our entire week-long stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. A special thank you to Sophie, who provided incredible restaurant recommendations that ended up being some of our favorite meals in Paris. The level of service here is hard to put into words. We were treated with such care and attention that we genuinely felt like royalty the entire time. It’s rare to find a team so attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The location is another major highlight. It’s just a short, easy walk to the Arc de Triomphe and surrounded by great shopping. You’re also very close to both metro and bus routes, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere in the city. If you prefer, catching an Uber or flagging a cab is effortless. The hotel staff is also happy to arrange transportation for you. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We left already looking forward to coming back. I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful this experience was. 100% satisfaction—highly recommend.
• Exceptional location: The hotel is at 3 Avenue Mac Mahon, 75017 Paris, just a few minutes’ walk from both the Arc de Triomphe and the famed Champs-Élysées boulevard. Guests repeatedly praise how convenient it is for sightseeing and shopping. • Strong service and cleanliness: Recent guest reviews highlight very clean rooms and attentive, friendly staff. For instance: “Super nice room and clean… very nice staff.” • Boutique luxury feel: Though labelled a 5-star, the hotel has a somewhat boutique atmosphere (around 40 rooms according to some listings), which helps it feel more intimate than some larger chain hotels. • Good amenities: Free WiFi, a bar/lounge, and centrally placed for transport (Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile metro nearby) are noted as benefits.
