Local jazz bar near the Notre Dame. Little space with whole warm music. Needed to be reserve first, you can find an information on the site (no matter you have reserve or not recommended to be come 15min before the time to be find a seat). Bar have some many varietimy of drinks so enjoy the music in the city of love.
Incredible (and very small!) jazz club with seating immediately next to the performers. Good drinks and amazing atmosphere.
Cute jazz place with live music events. The place is small, so best to reserve entry upfront as they may run full. The bar is in the cellar, need to take small stairs down. There’s a bar area and a kind of room sized sitting area to watch live performances. Good acoustics for jazz. Chairs in the seating area are side by side so you will be cosy with other people. About 30 spots to sit. Front row sits abojt 1 meter from the piano. The bar in the back is self service. Only 1 person to work behind it so expect waiting time. Also a very limited selection of beer (just 1 blonde and an IPA)
A wide variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, is available, but no food is served. The music is of exceptional quality, performed in an ancient cellar, where the resulting sound quality is excellent! It’s great to be able to buy a ticket for afternoon jazz in an intimate setting with no need to stand in line. I was in Paris for a month, and enjoyed attending 3 performances at 38 Riv. I look forward to returning in the future!
Elsa runs an amazing jazz club! This was my favorite of 2 cave jazz clubs. Everything felt well thought out. There's a coat check which is always appreciated on a night out right when you walk in. Downstairs the sitting room gets pretty packed, but while you're waiting, there's a bar attached with a video of the band. The bar has a great overall vibe, and I liked that there was a quieter space to talk while still listening to the music. I wish I had this place back home!
