Was back at this bar after 8 years. Great place with a very chill vibe. George the owner is a very cool guy. It is a nice bar with an international vibe. I'd highly recommend it. Thanks for a great night after 8 years! Will be back next week!
I visited recently for an expat comedy show. The show was brilliant and funny. My friends and I had a really cool time. The bartender was very welcoming and the other staff was okay. The guy at the door was friendly enough but perhaps was too chatty. Anyways, I can't wait to get back for another show.
Extremely cozy bar with great vibes and great people. I mostly go to the music open mic on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, it's a really welcoming place for artists of all levels to play live music. Highly recommended
La Pomme d’Eve has become a place for me to reconnect with old friends and make new ones :) It’s now clearly one of those go-to spots on the Paris scene where Parisians and expats naturally mix and a real sense of community is created. The manager, George, is incredibly welcoming, as are the bartenders and the hosts of the themed nights. I first discovered it through the stand-up comedy scene, and now I go back regularly for the role-playing games (Mafia/Werewolf, called Mask and Motives) and for Paris Quiz every Monday and Thursday respectively. I haven’t tried the cocktails yet (even though you’re spoiled for choice) but I can say that the snacks are delicious and extremely affordable—an excellent combo with the beers. There are also non-alcoholic options available, such as alcohol-free beer and mocktails.
Came for an english-speaking comedy night and had a great time! Love the almost dungeon-like quality of this vaulted underground space, and the bartender was friendly. Would happily come back for another show!
