A superb dinner at Le Grand Bain in Belleville. We had originally planned to come here when we’re were in the City for Paris 2024 however events conspired against us. So this became a top addition to the list for this visit. And I’m very glad we made it. A great small plates restaurant, with some very innovative and tasty food. We had an outside table which was fantastic, as the area has a cool vibe. Service was informative and helpful, from a young and friendly team. Belleville is like Shoreditch was back when it was trendy. Edgy, graffitied streets, a melting pot. The restaurant scene mirrors this. One of my favourite places in Paris. Really local and non touristy. This meal was great value too, at £50 a head, far cheaper than London. An easy recommendation.
Food is impeccable and interesting even when compared with much more expensive restaurants. Service is laid back but warm and attentive. The atmosphere in the street and in the restaurant is fine, a bit shabby chic but nothing too noteworthy— good or bad.
Wonderful place where you feel like sharing every dishes and the wine bottles were affordable. It is a great food experience in a fun neighborhood. The sommelier knows his wine, the staff (front and kitchen) are very friendly. They change the menu often
I was looking for a restaurant in Paris that combines Mediterranean cuisine with traditional French ingredients and by accident stumbled upon this place. We got a table prior 2 weeks and it lived up to my expectations, so that I would even say it's been the best restaurant in Paris: delicious dishes, good service, tasty wine. I wish I could return soon.
Is one of the best restaurants in Paris, the food its incredible, the taste, the different flavors, the presentation of the dishes. We were very surprised by every dish. Also there are a lot of vegetarian options and this is a super plus. The waiters were super nice and they took the time to explain and to clarify our doubts.
