Reviews
The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant, but unfortunately the service lets the whole experience down. It is extremely slow and inattentive, and the restaurant is clearly understaffed. It’s a shame, because the kitchen does a good job, but the lack of service overshadows everything else. LATER EDIT following the owner’s reply: Following the owner’s response, I feel the need to revise my overall rating from 4 stars to 3 stars. What disappointed me even more than the slow service was the dismissive and arrogant response claiming that my review was “not according to reality.” It was absolutely our experience, and it was confirmed by your own staff. Throughout our visit, both the waiter and the waitress repeatedly apologized for the delays. The waiter, in particular, explained several times that they were understaffed, that he was serving too many tables, and that there was nobody available to help him. They were doing their best under difficult circumstances, and I don’t blame them at all. The problem is clearly a lack of staffing, something your own employees openly acknowledged. Instead of dismissing customers’ experiences, it would be far more constructive to acknowledge the feedback and work on improving the situation. Restaurant owners should appreciate honest reviews, even when they are critical, because they are an opportunity to improve—not something to argue about or deny. Good food and a pleasant atmosphere cannot make up for service that consistently fails because there simply aren’t enough people to look after the guests.
Such a charming restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is a true delight, with fresh, Mediterranean-inspired flavors and beautifully presented dishes. From the first bite to the last, everything tasted amazing and clearly made with great care. Big compliments to the chef – the food was outstanding and full of flavor. The welcome and goodbye were especially warm and friendly, which we really appreciated. During our stay, the service felt a bit anonymous at times, but the restaurant was extremely busy, so that’s understandable. We were definitely glad we made a reservation in advance. Overall, a great experience and well worth a visit!
We went here for Dinner and had a nice time in the Restaurant with excellent food. The fish was very fresh and especially Dessert was remarkable.
Azuli in Versailles is a stylish, contemporary restaurant with a clean, modern aesthetic that fits well into the city’s elegant atmosphere. The kitchen focuses on Mediterranean cuisine with light, sun‑inspired flavours, which comes through in the composition of the menu. The dishes we ordered were well prepared and nicely presented, but considering the portion sizes and the overall simplicity of the preparations, the pricing felt quite ambitious. The service was generally fine, though not particularly attentive. Nothing went wrong, yet there was a certain lack of engagement that kept the experience from feeling fully polished. Overall, it was a mixed experience: good food with a Mediterranean touch, pleasant surroundings, but a price‑to‑value ratio and level of service that didn’t fully meet expectations.
