Le Relais de l’Entrecôte is a fantastic French restaurant and definitely one of the best choices for steak in Paris. The concept is very simple, but that is exactly what makes the experience special. There is no complicated menu; they only ask how you would like your steak cooked and what you would like to drink. The meal starts with a fresh and delicious walnut salad, which is served before the main course. It was simple, light, and full of flavour. After that, they bring the first round of steak with chips, and when you finish, they bring a second hot round. This is an amazing idea because it keeps the food fresh, warm, and enjoyable from beginning to end. The steak was really delicious, cooked perfectly, and served with their special sauce, which made it even better. The chips were crispy and tasty, and the whole meal felt very satisfying. It is a fantastic place to enjoy a proper steak meal in Paris. After the steak, we also tried a French dessert, and it was amazing. It was rich, beautifully served, and a perfect way to finish the meal. The service was also great. The staff were fast, calm, polite, and always served us with a happy face. Overall, Le Relais de l’Entrecôte was a wonderful experience with delicious food, a simple but smart concept, excellent service, and a very enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat steak in Paris.
It was an amazing food experience from my part. Very friendly and helpful staff. They are quick, I was solo and I went around 12pm (opening time) so it was so easy to find a place. The food was delicous the steak was just the way i like it. They give you 1 serving and then the second without asking. Dessert was amazing
Had a great experience at Le Relais de l'Entrecôte. We waited in line for about 40 minutes, but it was worth it. The steak was very tasty, the wine was good, and the salad was fresh and delicious. As an American, I felt the steak portion was a little small, but the flavor was excellent. You will get two servings. Dessert was also really good. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend it for the quality and atmosphere.
Went to Le Relais de l’Entrecôte and I’d say it’s good, but definitely a bit overhyped. The concept is simple. You don’t really choose anything. You get a salad, then steak with fries and their famous sauce. It’s quick and efficient, I’ll give them that. The steak was solid, cooked right, but nothing crazy. The sauce is nice, probably the best part, but I honestly expected more after hearing so much about it. Also, the wait and the whole hype around it set the bar pretty high. In the end it just felt like a decent meal, not something I’d go out of my way for again. Worth trying once, just to see what it’s about. But I wouldn’t go in expecting anything mind blowing.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick. The venue itself is warm and inviting, nicely decorated, though the tables are cramped. The fixed menu offers a delicious experience: a salad with a excellent vinaigrette, impeccably cooked and sliced beef (medium-rare, just as it should be), and perfectly crispy french fries. Water and desserts are separate. The food was outstanding, with generous portions. They even came around twice to serve more meat and fries. What truly sets this place apart are the sauces for both the salad and the meat; they are delicious. For dessert, I had a Mont Blanc, which was excellent too with great texture and flavor. A couple of downsides. The waiting times outside were excessively long, almost an hour in the cold, which is unacceptable even during peak hours. They should improve this, perhaps with a covered or indoor waiting area, or consider a larger venue. Furthermore, the price of drinks is insane: I paid 7€ for a 1L sparkling water bottle. That said, I had a good experience overall.
