Wonderful meal and excellent service - everyone was amazing and a special shoutout to Gal, Daniel, and the rest of the team for spending time and making our meal unforgettable. We loved the combination of Farm to table, French, and influences from the chefs cultures (Israeli, Persian, traditional Ashkenazi cuisine). Come hungry!

I had never been to a Michelin-starred restaurant before, so I honestly did not know what to expect. I was a little worried it might feel too stiff or formal, but Shabour was the exact opposite. had top notch fun, and the whole night was just a fantastic experience from start to finish! The tasting menu is called "The Voyage Shabour," and every single plate they brought out looked like a piece of art. some of the things that really stood out to me: The evening started with a bunch of tiny, beautiful bites that were packed with flavor. The Egg Dish (Haminados): This was a soft-boiled egg covered in an airy tahini foam with little trout eggs. It felt like really comforting home cooking (the bread was perfect match) . The duck was the star of the night, It was cooked perfectly . The desert was made of lemon sorbet paired with fried freekeh and black pepper cream. It sounds like a wild combination of ingredients, but it totally worked and was the most refreshing way to end the meal. The staff was so welcoming and explained all the food without making you feel out of place or intimidated.

We were completely blown away by Shabour. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and engaging. They made such an effort to accommodate our dietary requirements and preferences, and they took us on a culinary journey that transported us to Jerusalem. The food was fantastic, and the mixture of French, Israeli, North African, and a bit of Yiddish was completely unique and special. Having been to some other restaurants in the group (Tekes & Coal Office), the anticipation was high, but this far exceeded those. Hugely recommend!

The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and the decorations were good and the story behind the decorations was very interesting. The food was beautifully plated, and it was a fun dining experience, but for a Michelin star restaurant the taste didn’t wow me the way it should have. Also it claims to be an Israeli restaurant, but it was more French than anything. They said they were inspired by Israeli cooking, but I’ve had plenty of Israeli food and it’s kind of unfair to claim that as IsraelI. If you like fine dining, I’d recommend the four course meal without the wine pairing as the wine didn’t impress me that much. Overall, it was a cool experience though.
