It sets hearts to flutter for its instantly recognizable design.  See Paris through the eyes of a real Parisian, and then prolong this sweet time right at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.  Jump on the 'Les Bateaux Parisians' boats, entirely glassed over and boasting a terrace at the stern and outside walkways with perfect panoramic views.
