Foods and the vibe here are so good. I would say here is the must visit place in Paris if one would only stay for less than a week. I have the today’s special, fish and the champagne cocktail. AMAZING Franck tre bien! The best service and he’s good to Taiwanese ppl.
Had a lovely celebratory lunch here with my parents while on a short visit in Paris. Vilson made us feel welcome here and we tried their special off menu dishes. The duck confit and steak was delicious. Will love to come back!
★★★½ Le Carré Élysée is a lovely restaurant just a few minutes' walk from the Champs-Élysées and conveniently close to the hotel I was staying in, making it an ideal choice for dinner after a day of exploring Paris. I ordered the entrecôte steak with a Blue Lagoon cocktail. The steak was cooked exactly how I requested, medium-well, and was accompanied by a generous portion of well-cooked fries. The Blue Lagoon was refreshing and enjoyable, although it could have been mixed a little better, as the final third of the drink tasted significantly stronger than the first two thirds. Unfortunately, my friend's experience was less positive. She ordered the cheeseburger, which arrived cold. After informing the waiter, the dish was promptly taken back without hesitation. While the replacement burger was much better, the accompanying chips had gone cold by the time it returned. The staff did offer to prepare an entirely new meal, but my friend decided not to eat, and the restaurant kindly removed the dish from the bill, which was appreciated and handled professionally. The service and atmosphere throughout the evening were both very good. The staff were polite, accommodating, and dealt with the issue well, while the restaurant itself had a relaxed and welcoming ambience. Overall, my own meal was very enjoyable, but the inconsistency in our table's experience prevents this from being a higher rating. I would still happily return, as the location, atmosphere, and customer service make it a worthwhile option in the area.
What a charming and authentic little French spot in Paris! Le Carré Élysée gave us such a memorable dinner experience. Our waiter, Adrian, made everything feel even more special with his friendly and attentive service. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating available, but since it was chilly outside, we enjoyed the cozy indoor atmosphere. We started the evening with red wine: I had the Brouilly AOP Château des Tours and my wife enjoyed the Pinot Noir IGP Le Versant. Both paired perfectly with the meal. For appetizers, we shared the Goat Cheese Spring Rolls, which were crispy, creamy, and delicious. For dinner, my wife had the classic Boeuf Bourguignon, rich and comforting, while I ordered the Pluma de Cochon de nos Régions, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. To finish the night, we shared the Éclair au caramel beurre salé. Absolutely amazing and the perfect sweet ending! A fantastic little restaurant for both travelers looking for authentic French cuisine and locals wanting a cozy, quality meal. Yummmmmm!
The food was excellent overall, and the Confit de Canard was especially outstanding — perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. The service was also great, and Jonathan was particularly attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again.
